The sail hunt Alanta is a reconstruction of an Åland hunt from the beginning of the 19th century. The project is run by Segeljaktsföreningen Alanta r.f.

The purpose of the construction is partly to keep old craftsmanship alive and partly to enrich Åland with a well-sailing hunt. Alanta will primarily be used with a focus on children and young people.
